Parker Brothers Fighting Knife – Japan
Description
Fighting knife marked “PARKER BROTHERS CHATTANOOGA, TN” and “SURGICAL STEEL – MADE IN JAPAN.” Features a 6½-inch spear-point blade with blued finish, single central fuller, and short steel crossguard. The handle is composed of stacked leather washers with blackened steel pommel and guard. Matched with a U.S. M8A1-style fiberglass scabbard fitted with a custom tan leather belt hanger. Overall length approximately 12½ inches.
CONDITION: Blade shows moderate surface wear and light sharpening marks with traces of oxidation along the fuller. Leather grip displays surface dryness, flaking, and minor edge separation near the guard but remains structurally solid. Scabbard retains most of its green finish with light scuffing and wear. Leather hanger appears later-made and in excellent condition.
