Spanish Model 1943 Toledo Bayonet w/ Scabbard
Description
Spanish Model 1943 (Modelo 1943) bayonet manufactured for use with the Spanish Mauser rifle. This example features a 9¾-inch single-fullered blade with bright finish, blued steel crossguard and bird’s-head pommel, and checkered black Bakelite grips secured by screws. The pommel retains a functional push-button release catch. Ricasso is stamped with a crowned “N” over “TOLEDO,” denoting manufacture by Fábrica Nacional de Toledo, while the opposite side bears serial number “2129 X.” Accompanied by its matching steel scabbard finished in black enamel. Overall length approximately 15½ inches.
CONDITION: Blade shows light scattered spotting and minor finish wear along the guard and pommel. Grips exhibit mild handling wear with tight fit. Scabbard displays light surface wear and age patina. Overall appears in very good condition.
