Argentine Mauser 1909 Bayonet Matching Scabbard
Description
Factory-produced non-functional (parade or drill) version of the Argentine Model 1909 Mauser bayonet manufactured by D.G.F.M.-F.M.A.P., Rosario. Ricasso marked “Sable Bayoneta Mauser Mod.-1909” with the Argentine crest and serial E.A. FM 000653, matching between bayonet and scabbard. Features a solid pommel without release button, milled T-slot mount, wood grips with steel rivets, and blued steel scabbard.
Overall length approximately 20½ inches; blade about 15¾ inches.
CONDITION: Blade shows light oxidation, scattered age toning, and surface marks from use. Grip panels retain an aged finish with handling wear. Scabbard shows mild dents and thinning to the blued finish consistent with service handling.
