U.S. Model 1902 Army officer’s saber by The Lilley-Ames Co., Columbus, Ohio, circa 1925–1939. Nickel-plated steel hilt with black composite grip and wire wrap, and a single-fuller etched blade featuring U.S. and eagle motifs. Blade measures approximately 30 inches, with an overall length of about 36½ inches including the hilt and scabbard. Complete with nickel-plated steel scabbard retaining both suspension rings. A clean interwar-era officer’s dress saber representing the long service life of the 1902 pattern through World War II.
CONDITION: Blade shows bright polish with light handling wear; etching remains clear and crisp. Scabbard displays light surface oxidation and small handling marks consistent with age.
