U.S. WWII-era Civil Defense helmet marked “COURT, PERRY, OCD” inside the brim. Features a white painted finish over steel shell, showing age wear and patina from service use. Retains original cloth suspension straps, now frayed and separated in places. The white paint exhibits substantial flaking, exposing the darker base coat beneath, giving the helmet a classic field-used appearance.
CONDITION: Helmet shows heavy surface wear and paint loss consistent with age and use. The liner straps are brittle and partially detached. The stamped marking remains legible, and the shell is solid with no visible cracks or structural damage.
