Pair of early 20th-century cast iron hand grenades, both inert. Includes a French Foug Mle 1916 with segmented body and open fuse well, and a U.S. MKI grenade featuring distinctive squared segmentation pattern and threaded fuse cavity. Both represent early fragmentation grenade designs from World War I.
CONDITION: Both examples display stable, aged patina with scattered oxidation and light pitting consistent with age. Surfaces remain structurally sound with no cracks or repairs visible. These examples are fully inert and free of explosive components.
