Copy of Franz Meert’s (Belgian, 1836-1896), “The Village Secretary” (also known as “The Old Attorney”), signed lower right “L. Bonnat 1859″, oil painting on stretched canvas, in a gilt gesso and wood frame measuring approximately 21-1/2″ x 17-5/8”. CONDITION: Not examined out of frame. Overall craquelure to painting.
