Three American Blown Glass Apothecary Jars & Lids
Description
Three19th century American hand blown clear glass apothecary or druggist jars with 2 applied rings for better grip, and unground pontil marks, 5-18″ Dia. x 8″ H. Lids may be a later addition, 5-1/4″ Dia. x 3-1/2″ H.
Provenance: Schiappacasse’s Candy Kitchen, Flint, Michigan (1886-1971). CONDITION: One jar has a small broken section of the bottom applied ring, one jar has a small chip on top rim, one jar has black specks from original maker, and all lids have inside rim chips from use, as pictured.
