Nine pieces of Mid Century Modern, Block China (Portugal), in the “Poppy” pattern (introduced in 1982 and discontinued in 1991), from the Watercolors series, by Mary Lou Goertzen (American, 1929 – 2020), includes: (1) 8″ salad plate; (2) 6-3/8″ bread and butter plates; (2) flat cup and saucer sets; and (2) 5-7/8″ coupe cereal bowls. CONDITION: Some pieces show signs of use and wear such as knife scratches and loss of pattern in some areas. One of the coupe cereal bowl is chipped, please see last photo.
