Description
Japanese woodblock print on paper with mica ground, after Chokosai Eisho (also known as Shoeido) (Japanese, flourished 1790s), depicting a courtesan, titled “Kasugano of the Sasaya,” from the series “Contest of Beauties in the Pleasure Quarters,” circa early 20th Century, in a contemporary metal frame measuring approximately 18-2/3″ x 14-2/3″.
