Inuit serpentine carving, depicting a walrus, possibly by the Cape Dorset/Kinngait carver Peter Eyeesiak (Inuk, 1937-2011), circa mid 1980s, illegible etched signature on underside, approximately 13-1/2″ (L). Includes a CV for Eyeesiak and a gallery tag that may or may not correspond to this particular carving.
