1970s sterling silver brooch-pendant set with a blue Wedgwood Jasperware plaque depicting a classical female figure, possibly Flora or one of the Hours, carrying garlands. Marked WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND and dated S 71 (indicating production in 1971). The sterling frame is marked STERLING VAN DELL, the mark of Van Dell Jewelry Co., a well-known American maker of fine sterling and gold-filled jewelry, especially active from the 1940s through the 1980s. The brooch features a twisted rope border and has a combination pin and pendant bail for dual wear. The piece is in excellent condition. Weighs approx. 10.2 grams and measures 1 7/8” w/bail x 1 1/8”
